WANTED: Radical digital audio geek

WANTED: Beautiful audio-type cyber-person to edit slices of the weekly Radio Perth Indymedia radio broadcast from RTRFM 92.1 in Perth, and upload for pod-consumption by the masses.

Apologies to those who like to listen to the uploaded broadcasts. Currently we lack the physical time and people to edit and upload each week.

We automatically capture the show each week on our server. Its a 48MB mp3 file. With a broadband connection it takes around 20 minutes to fetch. It takes around 2-3 hours after the show to:

- download 50MB from the web,
- edit out the copyright stuff,
- cut into consumable slices,
- convert to smaller files,
- and then upload to http://radio.indymedia.org

If you have a few spare hours a week and you'd like to offer your time to help us do this task - we would make you a star!
